After »AD-DRESSING« (2015) and »VIENNA ON THE MOVE (2016), »PREFACE« presented the Autumn/Winter 2017 collections of 6 Fashion-Labels from Austria in dialogue with selected artworks in the context of Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO in 2017.

»PREFACE« reflects the meaning of images for the development of design and its representation in a reality to come. Both, fashion and arts are aware of the influence of images on the politics of the cultural design of our everyday life.

PREFACE: Image Politics in Fashion and Art は、2017-18年秋冬シーズンの Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO 2017 A/W にて、オーストリア発の6つのファッションブランドの最新コレクションと現代アート作品をご紹介する展示会です。この度は、場所を神宮前の A-Gallery に移し、2015年のAD-DRESSING 、2016年の VIENNA ON THE MOVE に続いて企画されます。

「PREFACE（まえぶれ）」とは、デザインの成長における観念的意図を表現し、それは未来の現実の中にある。日常での文化構築の中の駆け引きに影響を及ぼす観念は、ファッションとアート、どちらにも共通して見られるものである。キュレーター：アンドレアス・シュピーグル、ヴィヴィエン・さくら・ブランドル
